BOSE RC-9 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Was working intermittently - having to press on battery cover to get it to work. Now, though, I can't get it to work at all.
This bose controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittent in operation.
On opening there were a couple of problems found, the first was a loose connection in the battery terminals and the second was a dry joint around the RF coil. Both were resoldered and full functionality was restored.
