Fishing bait boat Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Fishing bait boat
Customers Fault Description : The boat is okay, but the controller will not turn on. I've checked batteries and suspect a broken connection somewhere within the controller
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This bait boat controller arrived safely and was missing its battery cover (this cannot be replaced) and on testing was found to have a sluggish power switch response.
This was due to 2 issues. The first was that the mounting screws for the internal PCB were loose, these were reseated properly.
The second issue was caused by a "noisy" switch, switch cleaner was used to remove all contaminants from the switch. Full functionality was restored.
Please note that we no longer repair this type of handset.
