ID8 Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : ID8
Customers Fault Description : None of the buttons are working on the remote control when you aim it at the ceiling light/fan.
Have tried replacing the batteries but this did not work.
When you press the on/off button on the remote the red light comes on and stays on only going out if you remove the batteries.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on testing was noted that the red light would illuminate but no signal was being transmitted.
This was found to be due to a faulty oscillator, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
