Mertik Maxitrol Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Mertik Maxitrol
Customers Fault Description : Receiver always states that the battery is low. I am not sure if thie refers to the ECU or receiver so have changed batteries in both with no success. Due to this low battery message, I cannot start my fire remotely
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection the remote was found to be at fault (not the receiver). The battery indicator in the handset was showing that the remotes batteries were low even with a fully charged battery inserted.
The battery cable was detached in the handset, this was replaced and then the 7133 regulator in the handset replaced which restored full functionality (see testing video)
No issue was found with the receiver.
