Customer's Fault Description
Device stopped working following the handset being dropped. New batteries won't power up up the handset.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead. The batteries were loose in the housing which meant that the internal terminal were impacted from being dropped.
The internal terminals were bent back into place and reinforced using solder, this restored full functionality.
Please note that the batteries will be tight in the control, this is actually how it is meant to be. Also please be careful to ensure the batteries are inserted in the correct polarity.
