Climapro 2 Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Climapro 2

Customers Fault Description : Time and date freezes. Temp showing as v high. Doesn't have background screen light. Faint lines on screen.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This item arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a "erroneous" temp and time function.

This is a fault usually caused by a couple of oscillators, these were replaced which did restored functionality but sadly the fault appeared again after a couple of hours. Whenever the remote is heated (such as when a soldering iron goes near it) it would start to work and then subsequently fail shortly afterwards.

Due to the inability to pinpoint the cause of the fault a repair is not possible.

Please note that the included self stamped paper envelope is not adequate to return the item in... a heavy item inside a paper envelope has a tendency to break out of said envelope (this is the most common reason for items going missing when shipping items to us, also we always ship items by tracked and signed which this envelope does not allow. If you do wish us to use this envelope we will need an email stating that you accept all responsibility for loss alternatively it can be disposed of by email request.

As per our sites service details all return postage fees are fixed at £6 - all items are return by Tracked methods to reduce the risk of loss or damage!
