Crestron HR 150 Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Crestron
Model : HR 150
Customers Fault Description : Remote dead. We did notice a little battery leakage, but have not opened the remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be totally dead.
On opening one of the terminals was found to have corrosion (see image), this corrosion was causing a power resistance. The terminals was etched clean and re-plated.
When re-tested the control was found to transmit on each button press. Please note that in the testing video the signal is quite lengthy on each button press, we believe this is because it cannot find its subsequent receiver. The customer is to test the remote on return.
