Customer's Fault Description
Most, if not all, soft touch buttons are either non-functional or slow at responding / working.
The main fault area is around the central region of the remote, namely from the 'SYSTEM MENU/TITLE LIST/GUIDE' row below to the 'REPEAT/PAUSE/STOP' row of buttons.
Generally speaking the remote is a very good condition, albeit has collected dust (and perhaps dirt/debris?) over the 15+ years since being originally purchased.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have many non responsive buttons.
On opening the issue was found to be caused by a large mass of sticky liquid contamination over much of the button array and buttons. The contamination was cleaned fully which restored full functionality.
