HSL Rise & Recliner chair Remote Repair Details

Model : Rise & Recliner chair
Customers Fault Description : Button related faults in HSL hand-controller (h/c) to be sent to you:-
1) Foot/Leg Lift selected - chair fails to operate Up or Down
2) Recline selected - back rest tilts fully back but once there locks chair to not function at all! Proof tests:- chair tested using known good h/c from spare chair - chair serviceable. Faults r in h/c
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the cable was damaged and also the button contacts were worn.
A replacement cable (straight cable) was fitted and replacement conductive pads glued into place on each button.
