Sony RM-ANU032 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Dead
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be totally dead.
On opening the oscillator and IR led was replaced but the item remained dead. This was concluded to be due to a faulty IC. Sadly this has made a repair not possible.
A google search was carried out and a genuine replacement remote can be found here!
This items was disposed of as per the customers telephone request 24th Jan 2022
