VALOR DREAM 843 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Battery terminals corroded due to non-use. Batteries thrown away, and new batteries not included as per your telecon instructions Jan 10

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.

There was confirmed to be signs of a battery leak on the terminals.

On opening sadly the acid has started to corrode much of the main PCB (see image).  Due to the amount of damage a repair is not possible.

We do however have a clone available that will work with the fire, this looks different but does do all of the functions of the original, see the image below of what this looks like.  This is priced at £26 in total which includes batteries and postage.
