Treadmill Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Treadmill
Customers Fault Description : The increase/decrease buttons do not work. Even removing the cover and using the board directly doesn’t seem to help.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This treadmill controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
This was due to a misshaped battery terminal caused by an incorrect battery being inserted, this control must be fitted with a CR2025 and not the CR2016 which is smaller. The smaller batteries will damage the terminals again. The terminal was reshaped which restored full functionality. A Duracell CR2025 battery will be supplied fitted on return.
