Homcom Treadmill A90-252V70 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The remote does not light up and does not sync with the treadmill. The treadmill lights up but does not move and nothing happens when you point the remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have the usual deformed battery terminal which was causing the remote to be dead (effectively shorting out the battery).
The terminal was bent back into position which restored full functionality. It is important that when changing the battery to make a not of where the terminals are as they can easily be bent out of position if care is not taken.
A Duracell battery has been supplied fitted on return so there will be no need to replace the battery for some time.
