Exodus smart switch Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Exodus

Model : smart switch

Customers Fault Description : The battery terminal plastic fixings have broken making the terminals loose and it does not function correctly. When the batteries are fitted the unit operates intermittently with buttons three, four and five not as effective as buttons one and two.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have a damaged battery enclosure.

The AA terminals were removed and replaced with a PP3 9v battery cable / clip.  This restored full functionality.
