Dometic Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Dometic
Customers Fault Description : Remote control shows all the symbols but will not communicate with the motorhome roof mounted air con unit.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Dometic freshjet 2200 air con remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on each button as per normal operation (see testing video).
It is possible tha the issue is with the receiver part of the Air Con, first thing would be to check that the Aircon system has power. A search was carried out to establish the dip switch configuration in the battery compartment in case someone has inadvertantly miss aligned any of the switches. As no fault could be replicated this item has been classed as no fault found.
