HOMCOM Treadmill Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote just stopped working after 2 weeks of use.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have the usual issue of damaged battery terminals. The terminals were bent out of position effectively shorting any battery that was inserted and making the remote dead.
The terminals were repositioned back into position which restored full functionality.
A Duracell battery will be supplied fitted on return.
IMPORTANT - It is extremely important that when it is time to replace the battery to carefully note the position of the battery terminals as this is a human error that will happen again if the battery is inserted incorrectly. The supplied battery should last for quite some time without needing to be replaced therefore do not remove the battery unless it has eventually drained.
