Carver Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Carver
Customers Fault Description : The remote control appears to be dead. The remote does not connect with the motor mover control unit and there is no lights being shown when buttons are pressed. The batteries have been replaced but have made no difference.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
On opening the issue was found to be due to a bad solder joint on one of the battery housing pins (see image). This was resoldered which restored full functionality.
