Linear Treadmill Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Linear

Model : Treadmill

Customers Fault Description : Remote control stopped working despite battery being full.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Walking treadmill remote control arrived safely and on inspection was found to have the usual issue of a damaged battery terminal, effectively one of the terminals was bent in such a way as to short any inserted battery power.

The terminal was repositioned and then when a battery was inserted correctly the remote was found to function as normal.

Important - A CR2025 battery will be supplied fitted on return, it is extremely important to take care when it is time to replace the battery to make a not of the terminals positions when taking out the battery as this fault is actually due to human error and can easily happen again.  The inserted battery is a Duracell which will last for quite a while without needing to be replaced, therefore do no remove it until the battery has depleted!
