Customer's Fault Description
The amp does not respond at all when I point the remote at the IRS sensor. I have replaced batteries on the remote and dimmed the lights in the room when I press the buttons on the remote, in case light interference is the issue. I moved recently and the remote may have been banged about a bit but there is no visible damage. I also tried cleaning the IRS lens on the amp, but no change.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely from the United States and on testing was found to be totally dead.
This was found to be due to a blown IR LED. A replacement LED was fitted which restored full functionality.
