Customer's Fault Description
Remote working ok apart from reverse button, none of the remote worked but when I lifted the cover skin off top of remote it all started working again apart from one button
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the facia was damaged due to the customer peeling it back. When peeled back again one of the button contacts was refitted incorrectly (see image). This was fitted properly which fixed the back button issue.
The original fault was actually due to the PCB mounting pin breaking which was causing the PCB to move around freely inside the remote. This would cause the remote to intermittently not respond from the power switch. The PCB was glued back into place.
