Customer's Fault Description
Hi, you have fixed our remote controls on a couple of occasions and I wonder if you can help this time. The 'casing' that the battery sits in has come away at one side and needs soldering. It works some of the time, but when the contact is lost, we need to open the remote up and put it back in place again.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely from Lancashire and on inspection was confirmed to have a battery housing that was broken away form the PCB (See image). The housing was resoldered firmly back into place which restored full functionality.
A Duracell CR2032 battery will be supplied fitted on return.
