Mertik Maxitrol Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Batteries have been removed. With battery the controller power light works. With batteries the receiver power light does not work. When attached to the gas fire the controller -receiver does not make the gas fire control operate.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to transmit as per normal operation.  The receiver unfortunately has signs of a battery leak which sadly makes a repair to the receiver not possible.
