Customer's Fault Description
Sensor not receiving signal from remote. New batteries tried. No obvious damage. Remote display working and green light on sensor flashes briefly when batteries changed but doesn't come on when remote pointed at it.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Mertik Maxitrol remote and receiver arrived safely from Midlothian and on testing the remote was found not to be transmitting. The transducer was replaced in the remote which restored the signal but the receiver was then found to not be receiving, again this was the transducer in the receiver at fault. The receiving transducer was replaced which restored full functionality (see testing video).
