Mertik Maxitrol G6R-H4T5 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote unresponsive and black wire also broken

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have a damaged battery cable.

The cable was replaced but sadly the remote remained dead.  A voltage test was carried out and the regulator was outputting its normal 3.3Volts.  Sadly this has led to the conclusion that the main IC situated under the display is at fault.  This has deemed a repair not possible. 

Replacement remotes can be found on the likes of eBay, it is important to ensure the correct is ordered that matches the receiver. 

This remote was disposed of as per out site terms 19th jan 2023
