Powrtouch Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Powrtouch
Customers Fault Description : The remote won't turn on. Holding down the 2 power buttons should turn it on and a row of green lights should come on. The last couple of times that it was used it was difficult to get on and stay on so I replaced the battery twice with new ones but still won't work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This motor mover remote arrived safely from Tyrone and on testing was ofund not to turn on from its twin power button press.
When opened there was a SMD diode blown (see image), this was replaced which restored full functionality.
