Customer's Fault Description
Doesn't light up without a lot of tapping and eventually when we
get it to respond it will not move the bed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Hulsta bed remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have erratic button response.
On opening there was contamination over the button contacts from the decomposing conductive pads. The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads glued under each of the buttons.
It was also found that one of the battery terminals had a cracked solder joint, this was resoldered.
Full functionality was restored.
