Gazco Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Gazco
Customers Fault Description : Simply does not work. Have changed batteries, of course. No history of recent direct damage to controller such as dropping it etc. The problem is not with the receiving unit in the gas fire as we have two gas fires and controllers and the other remote works perfectly with both fires.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be sending a scrambled signal. This was found to be the main IC. A replacement IC was ordered and fitted which restored full functionality.
