Remote & Power Box for Gas Fire Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Remote & Power Box for Gas Fire
Customers Fault Description : Power box does not respond to remote (which was repaired recently job no. 13357-20). Over last few days the red light on the power box has "blinked" during the sequence to fully open the gas valve. As valve reaches the "full" open position but before clicking red light goes "off". Discussions with Technical Services at Gazco, advise the problem is the power box.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing was found to be functioning as normal.
The items were tested randomly over a 5 day period but no fault could be replicated.
If the item shows signs of functioning erratically the only thing we can suggest it to replace the receiver if possible (this would prevent the item turning the heater on without intervention which could be dangerous)
