Ventaer Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Ventaer

Customers Fault Description : No response , both controllers following battery change and cleaning of battery terminals.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

These two window actuator remote controllers arrived safely and on inspection both were missing their fixing screws and both were dead.

On one of hte remotes some of the terminals had signs of corrosion due to a battery leak, these terminals were re-plated which restored full functionality.

The other remote was found to have its positive PCB end terminal missformed due to a previous battery lead repair attempt.  This had left a mound of solder on the terminal housing which was stopping the terminal from being seated correctly.  The solder was reworked and the terminal re-seated which restored full functionality (see testing video)

26th Mar - one remote was returned to us UGT and the batteries were inserted incorrectly, once refitted correctly the remote was found to be transmitted, returned to cust 27th Mar 2023
