AA3 Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : AA3
Customers Fault Description : two units, partially working but speed buttons dont seem to at times. ie can swith on at high, but not the others or switch off.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
These two aircon remote controllers arrived safely and on inspection on of the battery covers was loose (this cannot be rpelaced as spares are not available)
On testing both were suffering from various non functioning / sluggish buttons.
When opened the first remtoe was found to have a large mass of corrosion from a battery leak. The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
The second remote also had suffered a battery leak but the damage was not as severe, the PCB and button array was cleared of all contaminants which restored full functionality.
