PDT KF04=433RC Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : PDT KF04=433RC

Customers Fault Description : Got wet and is now not pairing. Batteries are new etc. Have tried pairing and the up button works but the stop and down buttons noworking

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have non functioning buttons.

On opening the main IC was found to have rust over its pins and one pin being rusted away.

Unfortunately this IC is not available as a spare and also the damage to the print is too extensive for a possible repair.
