Works a few times then stops , remove batteries and replace and then it works a few times and then doesn’t ,
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Yamaha Amplifier remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be functioning on all buttons except the volume up and down which was required to be pressed very hard in order to activate.
This was due to worn button contacts. After talking to the customer to explain that the issue of the remote working only a few times then ceasing to function was not seen it was decided to repair the volume pads (new pads were glued into place) and also replace one of the terminals due to it being rusted from a possible battery leak
