Customer's Fault Description
Doesn't turn on anymore after (little) fall
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Mertik Maxitrol remote arrived safely from Belgium and on inspection the screen has signs of damage (black markings in the top left corner). On testing the remote was found to be dead.
The dead issue was found to be due to a SMD diode breaking away from the PCB. The diode was replaced which restored full functionality. The display does have some patterning on it due to the damage but is usable and all digits are readable. These screens are not available as spares.
