Tempur Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Tempur

Customers Fault Description : Five of the six buttons work perfectly with the exception of the top left button (viewed from the front with the cable below) which does not work when pressed normally. It generally works when you press down at the top of the button so that it goes down slightly skewed. I suspect it’s a connection at that button or a faulty contact. I doubt it’s the cable itself and I would like to retain the coiled cable on the remote if at all possible. Perhaps you could ring me to discuss what you found? Very many thanks, John

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Tempur remote arrived safely from Alcester and on inspection the button contacts were found to be slightly high in resistance.  This is a common issue caused by both contaminated ocntacts and missplaced contats.  All buttons were contact cleaned and then repositioned.

The rest of the remote and cable was tested as ok.
