Truma Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Truma

Customers Fault Description : I believe the fault to be the springs holding batteries if I hold them down it sometimes works also side switch could need cleaning . It works intermittently.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Truma remote arrived safely from Port Talbot and on inspectio nthe terminals were deformed but this was not the issue.  The problem was due to a faulty switch which was causing intermittent power.  The switch was replaced whic hrestored full functionality.

The terminals were bend back into their rough positions, its important to "pivot" the batteries into position otherwise the terminals will be deformed again which can lead to battery burn / leak issues.
