Customer's Fault Description
The remote no longer works with the fire - it worked ok for a few months but no longer turns the flame on or turns the fire up or down.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gazco Fire controller arrived safely from Bishop's Stortford and on testing was transmitting on the up channel as normal but no signal was present on the down channel.
This was due to a faulty 40khz crystal. This was replaced which restored full functionality (see testing video)
This item was returned UGT with no signal being emitted at all, this was due to a faulty transducer, a replacement was fitted in the handset which restored full functionality. Item returned 12th April 2023
