Remote Fixer Repair Response

These two roll shutter fobs arrived safely from Cheshire and on inspection, both were dead and had suffered severe battery leaks.  The LEDs on both remotes were damaged.

The LEDs were replaced and the corrosion reworked, this restored power to both remotes but the button response was poor, the contacts were cleaned up which restored normal response and the LEDS on both remotes illuminate on all button presses.

At this point one of the remotes was restored to full functionality with a strong RF signal but the second was not transmitting, unfortunately this seems to be due to one of the main ICs having badly corroded pins, this has deemed a repair on this item not possible.

The payment on this page is for the repair to one remote plus postage.

The repaired remote will be provided with a full set of new batteries inserted.
