Customer's Fault Description
The batteries in the remote leaked - we replaced the batteries in both the remote and the blind but we still can't operate the blind. We think it's most likely the remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Velux roller blind remote controller arrived safely from Marlborough and on testing was found not to transmit an IR signal on any button press.
On opening this was found to be due to a corrosion spot in the traces of the print near the IR LED.
The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
