Customer's Fault Description
The buttons are not working to open garage door but there seems to be power as the light comes on you press the buttons
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This NRG Garage Door Opener arrived safely from Bicester and on testing was found to have a low emitting LED and no RF signal.
This was due to a small amount of contamination on the battery contact. This seems to be remnants of the clear "sick strip" that sometimes is fitted to batteries (this is to make kids vomit when they ingest the battery). Once the contacts were cleared of all contaminants full functionality was restored.
