Faber Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Faber

Customers Fault Description : Remote not responding - has not been used for some time and the batteries have leaked. Cleaned out and tried with new batteries but not worked. A wire may have been detacehd from the battery compartment while cleaning it.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Gas Fire Remote controller arrived safely form Blackburn and on inspection was found to have a melted case down the left hand side and a badly damaged battery housing from a battery leak. (the case cannot be replaced as spares are not available and functionality is not effected by the case)

A replacement battery housing was fitted which restored full functionality.
