Customer's Fault Description
To activate the remote, the 2 red buttons should be pressed together and the green light should come on and stay on for around 30 seconds or remain on whilst using the remote. However, the power doesn't stay on and instead you have to hold the 2 red buttons down constantly whilst using the mover. Also, whilst doing this, the connection is lost many times so I assume the power keeps disconnecting
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Caravan motor mover remote arrived safely from Chesterfield and on testing was found to power off as soon as the power buttons were released.
This was due to a SMD diode, this was replaced which then restored full functionality.
The battery cable was also replaced as the original was damaged.
