Quattro caravan mover Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : on light keeps flashing and will not turn off - not connecting with the mover
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This motor mover remote arrived safely and on testing was found to flash constantly without a button bein pressed.
Unfortunately the remote appears to have been drench in some liquid (smells like wd40 / Switch cleaner). This was over 100% of the PCB and also the button array. This dissolves the glue on the button array which can become conductive.
It is not a good idea to spray any liquid / switch cleaner inside an item with sensitive SMD devices.
It is thought that the issue is with the main IC which makes a repair not possible.
