Customer's Fault Description
Remote shows 50% battery max even with new battery, runs down quickly and only operates fire intermittently.. Removing battery and replacing sometimes works for one or two operations.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Gas Fire remote controller arrived safely from Aylesbury and on testing was confirmed to have an erroneous battery indicator.

The regulator and battery cable were replaced which restored full functionality.
