I dropped the remote on my driveway and now when I switch it on, it no longer beeps to connect to the motor mover. I have tried new batteries but it must be something internal to the remote. It also sounds like something is loose when I shake it so I expect something has broken inside.

When opened the issue was found to be due to a broken shaft on the internal switch. The switch was replaced which restored full functionality.
