Buttons suddenly started working intermittently. Have tested the chair with another handset and chair itself seems to function ok.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This recliner chair remote arrived safely from Northamptonshire and on inspection the cable was found to have a broken cored at the remote end.  The cable was cut back and refitted to bypass the breaks.
