Battery changed on remote but no connection to tv

This TV remote control arrived safely from Chesterfield and on testing was found to be dead.

When opened the issue was foudn to be caused by corrosion in the print from water contamination.  This was causing arious open circuits.

The print was reworked which restored full functionality and then the PCB re-masked.

Please note that this item is not waterproof and great care must be taken to prevent future damage.
