Systemline audio Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Systemline audio

Customers Fault Description : No buttons Work in any rooms Have changed batteries for new. The other remotes (3 in total) work in all rooms.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This RHS IR remote for Distributed Multi Room Audio arrived safely from Gateshead and on testing was found to be transmitting on each button press as per normal operation.

The oscillator was replaced in case of a incorrect code frequency but the codeset was not changed meaning this was not a fault.

The code on each button is consistent meaning that no fault could be replicated.  The controller was tested randomly over a 2 day period without an issue being found.

It could be that the IC is sending an incorrect code but this is highly unlikely and isn't a repairable issue as it would mean replacing the custom IC which is not available as a spare alternatively it could be an intermittent issue but as we cannot replicate a fault no repair is possible a component test and continuity test revealed no issues.
