Customer's Fault Description
Remote will not increase flame, however it will decrease flame.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gas fireplace remote control arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to transmit as per normal on each button press.
Unfortunately the receiver looks to have suffered a battery leak, there is a terminal that had discoloration which is a sign of a battery breakdown (see images).
Due to this sadly a repair is not possible as these items can develop dangerous issues once a battery leak has happened such as turning the heater on without intervention.
