Customer's Fault Description
Spanner won’t disappear, took motorhome to local mh garage and used their remote and it worked, they think the reset button maybe the problem?
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Motorhome air con remote control arrived safely from Cheltenham and on testing was confirmed to have a spanner in the screen, the spanner button on the keypad would not restored functionality as normal.
This was due to contaminated / worn button contacts on the lower button array. The pads and PCB were cleared of all contaminants which when the spanner button was then pressed for approx 5 seconds the functionality of the remote was restored.
