Customer's Fault Description
The remote which has been well looked after has just stopped working. Non of the buttons will operate. I did change the batteries with no result
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Marantz remote control arrived safely from Lancashire and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

This was due to contamination on one of the terminals from an apparent battery leak.  The terminal was etched clean which restored full functionality.
